Welcome to Laith Salma's website
Laith Salma is a student currently attending Sacred Heart teaching hospital in New York City. Originally a graduate of Brown University in nearby Providence, Rhode Island, Salma also attended medical school there as well. After having served his internship, he is now a resident doctor, and currently working toward his attendancy.
As a young man in Saudi Arabia, Salma dreamed of the chance to help people who might be suffering from preventable diseases. And while Saudi Arabia is no barren wasteland, it is never the less a place where good medicine is hard to come by, and where doctors aren’t always the best. He has come to the United States to seek his fortune and, hopefully, to return home someday.
His interest is in internal medicine, which is the correct diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Laith Salma likes to think of himself as being like House, but without the cane.
